Become a Community Partner
Building Stronger Communities Through Connection, Inclusion & Opportunity
Helping people reconnect with the people, places, passions and possibilities that help them thrive.
Together we can create pathways into wellbeing, community, movement, creativity, nature and purpose.
Why This Matters
Every day, we meet people who have become disconnected from parts of life that once helped them thrive.
Some are navigating disability, neurodivergence, ill health, trauma, burnout or major life transitions.
Others have become isolated through unemployment, caring responsibilities, bereavement, housing difficulties or prolonged periods of stress.
Many are already connected to services and support.
Yet they often tell us the same thing:
“I don’t know where I fit anymore.”
We believe recovery is not only about accessing support.
It is also about reconnecting with life.
A swim. A walk in nature. A creative project. A volunteering opportunity. A place where somebody knows your name.
These experiences can help rebuild confidence, routine, identity, connection and hope.
That is why we believe community organisations, leisure providers, employers, creative groups and wellbeing services play an essential role alongside traditional support systems.
Where Community Partners Fit
No single organisation can provide everything a person needs.
A social worker cannot provide a sense of belonging.
A GP cannot provide friendship.
An advocate cannot provide purpose.
A counsellor cannot provide a community.
Yet all of these things play an important role in helping people build a life they want to be part of.
Community partners help bridge the gap between support and participation.
They create opportunities for people to:
- move their bodies
- learn new skills
- rediscover interests
- meet new people
- build confidence
- contribute to their community
- reconnect with what matters to them
Whether you run a swimming pool, leisure centre, wellbeing service, community group, library, creative project, garden, café, volunteer programme or inclusive workplace, your organisation could become part of somebody’s journey forward.
Sometimes a single opportunity can become the first step towards something much bigger.
